Welcome to Vibrant Art
Vibrant art is “My practice of using bright colors in vibratory or wave like patterns, to create new positive feelings and ideas.” This art was developed by studying Medicine, Philosophy, and Imagination. Combining mandala art & Zen doodles, with randomly picked colors to fill the void of the page or canvass with beauty and joy.
Vibrant Art & My Mental Health
Vibrant art developed through depression and trauma was my coping skill, helping me fight depression from high school well my through young adult life. I practiced several professional Craft skills in various trades such as General Construction, HVAC/R, Carpentry and Electrical Engineering in the U.S. ARMY. During these careers I ceased to make any art or poetry, going another depression. After leaving the military, Vibrant Art once again saved me this time in Acrylic paint which inspired me to do my first art show. I now serve the community as a Mobile Crisis peer support for interior Alaska’s vulnerable population.
"Art imitates life."

Does your space feel gloomy?
Mental health is important. When we are depressed our vision gets worse and we see less colors. Often we might walk into a room with lights and activity and it still looks dark to us, or when loved ones are depressed they seem “darker” than usual almost like a shadow is hugging them. Vibrant Art works to dispel gloomy rooms and attitudes, like people each piece is unique in its ability to help someone. Placing Vibrant Art into perspective radiating colors and patterns that bring Joy and Inspiration.
